The Bach Stradivarius Cornet, 181ML, is a versatile instrument with plenty of projection and warmth. This model from Bach’s Stradivarius series is ideal for studio use and live performances, with a mellow tone well-suited for blending with ensembles and a wide dynamic range allowing the expressive delivery of solos. The .459″ medium-large bore size promotes a rapid and easy response with a thick, velvety tone, whilst the hand-hammered one-piece bell is made from yellow brass, which grants a warm and dark timbre.
This cornet features a thumb saddle on the first slide, so you can make rapid and easy adjustments to your tuning. The third slide has a rod stop on it, so you needn’t worry about it falling out and getting dented. The cornet comes with a quality Bach mouthpiece and woodshell case. Bach’s long-established pedigree in producing premium brass instruments has resulted in this, a Stradivarius cornet which sounds every bit as beautiful as it looks.
